Caldwell Trust Company is pleased to continue the process of renovating and moving into our new building for our Sarasota office. Just down the road from our current offices, our new building—also known as The Wilson Building—is located right in the historic heart of downtown Sarasota.

The History of the Cain/Wilson Building in Downtown Sarasota

The building was originally built and finished in the 1930s and has been a landmark of downtown Sarasota for over 80 years.

The previous tenants include the Wilson Law Firm, as well as many other law firms including that of former Florida Senator Bob Johnson.

Caldwell Trust Company’s Planned Renovations

Over the course of the next year and up until the expected move-in date of late 2021, Caldwell Trust Company will be performing renovations to both the interior and exterior of the building including an updated facade, improvements to the fountains, and a state-of-the-art interior facility for the Sarasota Caldwell staff

We are proud to become a part of the history of Sarasota by doing our part to preserve and occupy a piece of it and we look forward to the day we can officially call the Wilson Building home.
