Caldwell Trust Promotes Sheryl Vieira to Assistant Vice President of Marketing

Caldwell Trust Company has promoted Sheryl Vieira to assistant vice president of marketing, according to R. G. “Kelly” Caldwell Jr., CEO and president. In that capacity she is responsible for the company’s strategic marketing and business development, enhancing and expanding programs and developing new initiatives.Sheryl Vieira

Sheryl joined Caldwell as marketing manager in 2011, when assets under management were $425 million; they now exceed $800 million. She contributed to that growth by providing measurable programs leveraging industry-leading quantitative and qualitative marketing research and data analysis. She also initiated an inbound marketing program including a blog platform. In addition, she has led the business development of a customized CRM (Customer Relations Managment) system, redesigned the company website, headed a successful 20th anniversary campaign and launched a social media program.

“Sheryl brings a unique blend of financial and marketing expertise,” Kelly Caldwell said. “We have benefited greatly from her talent.”

Vieira relocated to Sarasota from New York as a marketing consultant for RHI Group, Inc., in 1999. Her first local position was as marketing director for Chef Paul Productions (now Mattison’s). She ran the local Cystic Fibrosis Chapter, was the director of marketing at Premier Properties and, most recently, had been director of marketing at Signature Sotheby’s International Realty. 

She has been deeply involved with the community as a volunteer. She is a “Big” with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast, serves on the advisory board for Make-A-Wish Central & Northern Florida Suncoast Region and co-chairs the annual Taylor Emmons Scholarship Fund Golf & Poker Tournament. Her past community involvement has included co-chairing the Clowning Around Town kick-off party for Hospice Palliative Care, the Hats & Chukkers Tea and Fashion Show for All Children’s Hospital Women’s Guild of Sarasota, and the 2012 Orchid Ball for Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. Past committee service includes All Faiths Food Bank, All-Star Children’s Foundation, Arts Council, Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County, Children First, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Every Child Inc., Girls Inc., Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium, NARSAD, New Gate Montessori School, Safe Place and Rape Crisis Center, Inc.(SPARCC), the Sarasota Bay Estuary Program, the John & Mable Ringling Museum of Art and the Out-of-Door Academy.

Sheryl is a member of the Florida Bankers Association and former member of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA). She was appointed to the Residence International Marketing Advisory Committee representing this region of the United States and has received the President’s Volunteer Service Award from the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation in conjunction with the National & Community Service and USA Freedom Corps. In addition, she was a member of the Young Professionals of the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce and the Junior League of Sarasota. She has received two Addy Awards from adFed Suncoast of the American Advertising Federation.
