VENICE, FL—Caldwell Trust Company has hired Sheryl Vieira as marketing manager, according to R.G. “Kelly” Caldwell, CEO and president. Based in the Venice office, Vieira is responsible for all aspects of Caldwell’s marketing, advertising, corporate sponsorships, special events, public relations opportunities and social media. Since joining the company in September, she has begun several new initiatives and also assisted Forty Carrots with “The Digital Dilemma,” a free educational community outreach program for which Caldwell Trust Company was the presenting sponsor.

A native of Rochester, NY, Vieira relocated to Sarasota in 1999. She has worked in marketing since 1993, most recently in real estate. She came to Caldwell from Signature Sotheby’s International Realty, where she had been director of marketing. Prior to that, she was director of marketing for Premier Properties, Sarasota division. Also in Sarasota, Vieira was director of development for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation; Director of Marketing, Sales & Events for Mattison’s Culinary Group; and events manager at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. She will co-chair the Annual Marie Selby Botanical Gardens’ Orchid Ball in 2012 and will also chair the first annual Charity Golf Classic for the Taylor William Emmons Scholarship Fund in 2012.
