VENICE, FL—Caldwell Trust Company has named Christopher N. Gray to its board of directors according to R. G. “Kelly” Caldwell, Jr., CEO and president of Caldwell Trust Company. “We have admired and respected Chris since the day we met,” Caldwell says. “We’ve observed his caring approach and outstanding results as he ministered to people over the years. Now we’re delighted that he will share his wisdom with our board and clients.”

Rev. Gray retired from the ministry in September after 31 years of service in Florida. He had been senior pastor at Grace Episcopal Church in Port Orange for 12 years and at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Venice for 19 years. Upon his retirement, he began a part-time position as development officer with the Episcopal Diocese of Southwest Florida.

“I have known the Caldwell family and several members of Caldwell Trust Company for many years,” Gray says. “I look forward to joining them in meeting the needs of families and individuals."

Rev. Gray has been involved with several community organizations during his years in Venice. He is a member of the Venice-Nokomis Rotary Club and also serves as chaplain of the Venice Yacht Club. He had previously been a member of the boards of the Salvation Army for seven years and Gulf Coast Community Foundation of Venice for six years.
