Venice, FL — Caldwell Trust Company (CTC) has established a scholarship program through the State College of Florida (SCF) Foundation Inc. to benefit Sarasota County residents who enroll as full-time students in SCF’s two- and four-year programs.
“Caldwell Trust Company is all about strong families, futures and communities. When our board of directors was looking for a great cause that aligns with our company values, the State College of Florida Foundation was a perfect fit. We are proud to provide scholarships for deserving students at SCF and wish them the very best this school year,” said Mack Reid, a member of the CTC Board of Directors.
CTC contributed $5,000 to the Caldwell Trust Company Scholarship Fund, which will award the first three scholarships in the 2014-15 academic year.
Cassandra Holmes, executive director of the SCF Foundation Inc., said, “On behalf of the SCF Foundation Board of Directors and staff, we thank Caldwell Trust Company Board of Directors and Kelly Caldwell for helping deserving students to pursue a brighter future with an SCF education.”
