During trying times, it is often easier to get distracted by the bad than it is to celebrate the good. As we all head into this July 4th weekend, we thought you might enjoy two quotes which remind us why we celebrate the birth of this great country.

The first is a quote from President Ronald Reagan...

"Let the Fourth of July always be a reminder that here in this land, for the first time, it was decided that man is born with certain God-given rights; that government is only a convenience created and managed by the people, with no powers of its own except those voluntarily granted to it by the people. We sometimes forget that great truth, and we never should." 

...and the second is from an outsider, Irish born singer, Bono. Sometimes the best reflection comes from someone outside looking in. Please watch the video below.
