A big congratulations to Scott Antritt, Assistant Vice President and Trust Officer at Caldwell Trust Company for completing Florida Graduate Trust School and graduating with the highest honors. Florida Bankers Association presented Antritt with the Tinsley-Wells Honor Graduate Award in recognition of the student who achieves the highest standard of excellence during attendance at the Florida Graduate Trust School. The criteria for the selection of the Tinsley-Wells Honor Graduate includes: high scholastic levels attained by the student during the two-year course of study; contribution to and participation in class; and overall personal contribution in the student body. The overall curriculum covers administration of estates and trusts, including specialized topics on issues affecting the trust industry.
An Ohio native, Scott graduated from Ohio University, cum laude, where he earned a B.A. in business administration with a concentration in finance and insurance. He has also completed curriculum through the College for Financial Planning, where he studied Financial Planning & Insurance, Investment Planning, Employee Benefits, Tax Planning and Estate Planning. He is licensed by the Securities & Exchange Commission/Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (SEC/ FINRA) in Series 6, 7 and 63.
Before relocating from Ohio and joining Caldwell in 2011, Scott worked as a licensed financial adviser with Raymond James Financial Services for 6 years where he focused on financial planning, estate planning and managing client portfolios. Prior to that, he had been a financial adviser with MetLife Financial Services and an independent registered securities representative with Brecek & Young Financial Advisors.
Scott and his wife, Heather, moved from Ohio to Lakewood Ranch in 2011. They have three children, Grayson, Landon and Ava which all currently attend Willis Elementary School. Scott is an active member of the Lakewood Ranch Rotary Club, Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance and volunteers coaching for his children’s sports teams.
